Splitomatic is an app to split expenses of a trip, event or anything where money is being shared among people.
Going on trip with friends, organising a shared event or anything where you need to share expenses, Splitomatic will be the perfect app to share expenses in an easy way and to ensure the dues are settled with minimum number of transactions among people.
How it works:
Lets say there are 7 persons on a trip.
1.Enter trip details and persons to the trip and you are ready to go.
2.Enter trip expenses with following details
a) Who paid for the expense (Person 1,2,3...7, there can be multiple payers too).
b ) Among whom the expense was split (The split can be even or uneven).
Based on the expense details the app will automatically generate the Split Report for entire trip stating who owes whom and how much. The app ensures that the transactions between persons on the trip to settle the dues is minimum. So no need to divide each and every expense, just enter expenses and and the app will do the rest.
Other features:
Settlements: For a long trip or long event, you may want to settle the dues every week or so.To keep track of these transactions you can add settlements. The app will consider the settlements while generating the split.
Individual Details: Total Amount Paid,Spent by each person.
Premium Version Features:
Share Trips: To avoid the hassle of one person keeping track of all expenses and adding them to the app, the app provides the feature of sharing the trip with other people on the trip.This way one single person doesn’t have to manage and add all the expenses. All people with whom the trip is shared with can add expenses to the trip and it will get synced among all the devices.
Multiple Currencies: A trip can have expenses in multiple currencies. The app will do the conversions and generate reports in the currency of your choice. Conversion rates can be downloaded or entered manually.
Trip Reports: PDF trip reports can be mailed from the app.
